In recognition
of the significant contribution made by acash
in protecting, promoting and supporting breastfeeding, Infant feeding,
Infant health and nutrition, the Government of India, Ministry of
Human Resources Development (Department of Women and Child Development)
as per gazette notification GSR 540 (E) has appointed and empowered
acash to monitor and report
violations of The Infant Milk Substitutes, Feeding Bottles
and Infant Foods (Regulation of Production, Supply and Distribution)Act,
1992.
